2 cups milk
1/3 cup sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla or almond extract

Directions:
Directions:
Measure milk into a 4 cup glass measure.
Add sugar, cornstarch, salt and eggs.
Beat the whole with a rotary beater until smooth.
Microwave at high for 4-5 minutes or until mixture begins to bubble, stirring twice during the last half of the cooking time.
Stir in vanilla.
Beat until smooth with rotary beater.
Serve warm or cold.


Serve with fresh fruits instead of cream or over cake or fruit cobblers.
