Coffee Cake

1 (20 oz.) can apple pie filling
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup white sugar
1½ cups milk
½ cup margarine or butter, softened
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3 eggs
¼ cup packed brown sugar
¼ cup coarsely chopped nuts
2 Tbsp. margarine or butter, melted

Mix pie filling and cinnamon; reserve. Beat flour, white sugar, milk, softened margarine, baking powder, salt and eggs in large bowl on low speed, scraping bowl constantly for 30 seconds. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes. Pour half of the batter into 9x13-inch pan sprayed with cooking spray. Spoon half of the pie filling mixture over batter in pan. Repeat with remaining batter and pie filling mixture. Sprinkle brown sugar and nuts over pie filling. Drizzle with melted margarine.

Bake at 350º for 45- 55 minutes. Serve warm.
 

Glaze Topping, Optional

¾ cup powdered sugar
1 Tbsp. butter or margarine, softened
¾ tsp. vanilla extract
2-3 tsp. hot water

Directions:
Directions:
Combine powdered sugar, margarine, vanilla and 2 to 3 teaspoons hot water. Beat until smooth and of desired consistency. Drizzle over cake.
