Gruyere cheese (Or any cheese of your choice)
Yukon gold potatoes
Fresh garlic
Fresh Thyme
Fresh Rosemary
Heavy cream (warmed)
Salt and pepper
Bread crumbs or butter crackers
2 TBSP butter (melted)

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350 degrees

Slice potatoes to desired width trying not to slice them more than 1/4" thick or it will take too long to cook but so they are approximately the same size. Warm heavy cream.

Spray baking dish then layer the following ingredients in the order given (make at least 4 layers) note the more layers you make the longer this will take to bake.

Potatoes
salt & pepper
Heavy Cream
Fresh herbs (thyme, rosemary and garlic)
Gruyere Cheese (or other cheese of your choice)

Top off with a mixture of bread crumbs, herbs and butter, cover with tin foil until the last 20-30 minutes so it will brown on top. Cook for 1-1 1/2 hours or until potatoes are done.
