2 1/4 Cups Sugar
6 Tablespoons Flour
1/2 Teaspoon salt
5 Cups Whole Milk
6 eggs
4 cups heavy cream
4 1/2 teaspoons vanilla

For extra rich ice cream use all 9 cups of heavy cream

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, flour salt in saucepan. Slowly stir in the hot milks. Cook over low heat for about 10 minutes stirring constantly until mixture thickens. Mix small amount of hot mixture into beaten eggs to temper. Add eggs to hot liquid and cook 1 minute longer. Chill in refrigerator till cold. Add vanilla and pour into an ice cream freezer. Churn till set and then place ice cream in containers and freeze for several hours. Or you can just do lek we do and eat it right out of the churn, who can wait for something this good.
