1 Large sweet onion (Vidalia if available, otherwise a sweet onion)
1 head of cabbage.....if a large head then use half
1 large bag of egg noodles

Directions:

Cut onion into large pieces, about two inches

Cut cabbage also in about two inch pieces

Put olive oil about 2TBL in a large pan and saute onions for about five minutes add about two TBL of butter to this also.

Now add the cabbage and saute until soft.

While you are doing this, have water in a pan and bring to a boil and boil the noodles.......drain and add to the cabbage/onion mixture and mix together.........add cracked pepper to your liking and it's done.

When you get the cabbage in the pan it looks like a lot but it cooks down quickly.
