1/4 cup Red River cereal
½ cup water
1 Tbsp soft margarine
½ tsp salt

1 1/2 tsp yeast
3 cups plus 2 Tbsp. bread flour
1/2 tsp sugar
1 cup plus 2 Tbsp. water
2 Tbsp molasses

Directions:

Mix Red River cereal in water . Microwave 2 minutes, then cool.

Put cereal/water, margarine and salt in bread machine. Add the rest of the ingredients. Mix using dough cycle.

Form into 2 loaves. Let rise. Bake at 375º for 25 minutes in a regular oven, or at 350º for 25 minutes in a convection oven.

This recipe makes 2 large loaves but I can make them in my small bread machine if I stir the ingredients just a little so the flour doesn’t jump out the top of the pan and make a mess.
