1 onion, finely chopped
Parsley
Salt and pepper
Eggs

Directions:
Cube day old rolls or bread; mix eggs with milk and add to bread cubes. Chop onions and parsley, cut bacon into cubes. Fry bacon till fairly crisp; add onions and cook till soft; add parsley; then add to bread cube mixture. Add flour and work through bread cube mixture till it holds together and form into balls.

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, add dumplings and boil about 30 minutes or until done. Dumplings will rise to surface as they cook. Once they are done add some cold water to
the pot to stop the boiling, this will keep them fluffy when served.
