2 1/2 to 3 lbs. of round steak, ask at the meat counter to have it put through the tenderizer twice
Flour for dredging meat
Oil for browning
1 pint (2 cups) tomato juice
3 stalks celery, cut up
1 small onion, sliced
Salt & pepper to taste

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Cut round steak into serving size pieces. Put a half cup of flour in a shallow dish or plate. Dip in flour and tap off excess. In a skillet, brown meat in hot oil. Place browned meat in a sprayed roaster. Add tomato juice, celery and onion. Add the salt and pepper to taste. Then add enough water to bring it up to the level of the top of the meat and bake covered for one hour or a little more.
