2 cups sugar
½ cup butter or margarine
½ cup milk
4 Tbsp. cocoa
½ cup peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
3 cups quick oatmeal
Optional: ½ cup nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cook sugar, butter, milk and cocoa in a large saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly. When mixture comes to a boil, let it boil for 2 more minutes. (Any longer the cookies will be crumbly, any shorter, the cookies will be gooey.) Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter and vanilla. Working quickly, stir in oatmeal; mix well. Drop by teaspoonful onto waxed paper or press mixture into a greased 9x9-inch pan and cut into squares.
