2 cups flour
¾ cup sugar
½ cup blanched almonds, finely ground
¼ tsp. baking powder
1 cup butter, room temperature
1 egg
1 Tbsp. milk
1 Tbsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Grease cookie sheets. Combine flour, sugar, almonds and baking powder; mix well. Cut butter into flour mixture until crumbly. Beat egg, milk and vanilla in a bowl until blended. Add to flour mixture; stir until soft dough forms. Spoon dough into a pastry bag fitted with medium star tip. Pipe 3-inch rings, 2-inches apart on prepared cookie sheet.

In preheated oven bake at 375 for 8-10 minutes, until brown on edges. Remove cookies to wire racks; cool completely.

Personal Notes:
I like to make green frosting and use my star tip to frost the cookies. Then put a few red hots or red candies around to make them look like a wreath. Use your imagination!
