In an oven safe pot layer the following ingredients on top of each other:

1 layer of raw hamburger
1 layer of sliced onions
1 layer of sliced potatoes
½ cup long grain rice
1 can of peas with the liquid

Directions:
Directions:
Add enough water so that when the pot is tipped on its side, the water rises above the peas. cover and cook @ 350º for an hour or until the rice is cooked.

HINTS: make sure the peas cover the rice so it will help it cook. Sometimes I use two cans of peas.
