1 cup brown sugar
1 stick butter (½ cup)
¼ cup light Karo syrup
¼ tsp salt
½ tsp baking soda *
3 quarts of popcorn
1 cup peanuts

Directions:
Directions:
Make 3 quarts of popcorn, add peanuts in a large bowl. Set aside. Combine the first 4 ingredients and heat to boiling, the boil for 5 minutes. After boiling add the *baking soda. pour mixture over the popcorn and peanuts and mix well. Place on baking sheet and bake in a 200º oven fir 1 hour stirring every 15 minutes.
