2 boxes powdered sugar (2 lbs)
1 can Eagle Brand Milk
1 stick butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla

Milk chocolate, for dipping
125 Maraschino cherries (approximately) with stems

Directions:
Directions:
With heavy duty mixer, cream together butter and Eagle Brand Milk. Add powdered sugar, slowly. Divide into 2 balls and wrap securely in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for 2 - 3 hours.

Pinch off small ball of fondant, roll flat (like a small pancake). Wrap around cherry w/stem. Place on wax paper. Dip into melted chocolate. Allow to dry.

Store cherries in Tupperware, or other tightly sealed container.

Best if allowed to 'season' for one to two weeks.
