Long hungarian hot peppers
White vinegar
Water
Salt
Fresh garlic cloves
Dried Oregano
Dried basil
Granulated garlic (optional)
Light olive oil



Directions:
Directions:
Slice peppers on mandoline or by hand. Place in a large ceramic or stainless steel bowl. Cover with 2 parts vinegar and 1 part cold water. Salt generously. Let soak at least 6-8 hours or overnight. Strain through colander. Press out as much liquid as you can and let them drain. You can place in mason jars or small containers with 1 clove sliced garlic, oregano, basil, granulated garlic and salt (if needed). Keep refrigerated.
