9 cups crispy rice or corn cereal (Chex cereal works well)

1 cup chocolate chips (milk, semisweet or dark)

1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

1/4 cup butter

1 tsp. vanilla extract

1 - 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time 2 minutes

1) Place cereal in a large bowl and set aside

2) Place chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter in a microwave safe bowl. Heat on high 1
minute. Stir and continue heating in the microwave in 30-second increments until the chocolate
ships are completely melted. Remove for heat and stir in vanilla extract.

3) Pour the chocolate mixture over cereal and toss with a spatula or large spoon to coat the cereal
well

4) Place the powdered sugar in a gallon-sized plastic zipper-sealed bag. Add the cereal in
batches, shaking to coat it well with powdered sugar. Transfer to a backing sheet to cool
completely

5) Store in a airtight container.
