1 c butter
1/2 c sugar
3/4 c corn flakes
1 tsp almond extract
2 1/4 c flour
1 c cherry chips
1 yolk
Directions:
Directions:
1. Cream butter and sugar, add egg yolk and extract. Then add flour, corn flakes, and cherry chips. Mixture will be crumbly.

2. Roll into balls & place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Dip fork in sugar and cross each cookie. Sprinkle with additional sugar.

3. Bake at 350º for 9 - 10 minutes (try 9 1/2). Leave on cookie sheet for a minute or two before moving to a cooling rack.
