1 cup soft butter or shortening
1 2/3 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups milk
4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
3 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup cocoa

Marshmallow Filling
3/4 cup white shortening (crisco)
2 cups powdered sugar
3 or 4 tablespoons milk
1 pint marshmallow fluff
2 cups powdered sugar

Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Mix dry ingredients together. Add dry ingredients alternating with milk. Blend well after each addition. Drop by rounded tablespoons on baking sheet and bake at 350º until they spring,back when lightly touched. Cool completely.
Mix filling ingredients. Frost generously and place another cookie on top making sandwiches. Freeze sandwiches before putting in container so they do not stick together.
