½ c. butter
¾ c. brown sugar
¼ c. sugar
1 egg
2 tsp. vanilla
1 ⅓ c. flour
½ tsp. baking soda
¼ tsp. salt
½ c. chocolate chips
¾ c. M&M's
Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350º. Spray a 9" pie plate with non-stick cooking spray. Set aside.
2. Melt the butter in a large, microwave-safe bowl. Mix in the sugars and vanilla. Then stir in the egg.
3. Mix the flour, baking soda and salt just until combined. Add the chocolate chips and ½ cup of the M&M's. Reserve the remainder the of the M&M's to garnish the cookie cake when it comes out of the oven. Mix well.
4. Scrape the dough into the prepared pan, then smooth the top with a spatula.
5. Bake for 25 minutes or until the top is golden brown. Remove from the oven and gently press remaining M&M's across the surface of the cookie cake while it is hot.
6. Cool before slicing.
