4 tbsp. olive oil divided
½ tsp. ginger, minced
4 cloves garlic, finely minced
½ cup soy sauce (low sodium is best)
¼ cup water
½ cup packed brown sugar

1 lb. steak (thinly sliced) I use cube steak
⅓ cup corn starch
2 green onions

Vegetables.. peppers, onions, mushrooms, sugar snap peas, and any other fresh vegetable you would like to use

1. Heat 1 tbsp. oil in small pan over medium low.
Add ginger and garlic...stir just until fragrant (about 1 minute)
Add soy sauce, water, and brown sugar...bring to a boil, let boil 3-5 minutes or until slightly thickened
Reserve 4 tbsp. sauce to go over vegetables

2. Slice steak into ¼" slices and toss in corn starch, gently shake off excess

3. Place 1 tbsp.at a time of oil in pan or wok heat over medium, cook beef in small batches for about 2 minutes
Place in sauce over low heat, this will finish cooking the beef

4. Sauté vegetables, add 4 tbsp. sauce

5. Once all beef has been added heat until hot and bubbly, stir in green onions, serve with rice and vegetables
