Ingredients:
Ingredients:
42 Club crackers
½ c. butter
½ c. sugar
1 tsp. almond extract
1 c. slivered almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Place crackers in a single layer in a parchment lined 15x10-inch baking pan. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add sugar; bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil for 2 minutes. Remove from heat; add vanilla. Pour evenly over crackers; quickly sprinkle with nuts and press lightly into the glaze. Bake at 350º for 10 or 12 minutes, until lightly browned. Immediately remove from the pan, cutting between crackers if necessary (I use a pizza cutter for this part), and cool on wire racks. Store in an airtight container.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This recipe was written when there were 42 crackers in one sleeve of Club crackers. Don't sweat the small stuff, just use what is in a sleeve now, which I believe is 40 but might be down to 38 by the time you read this. I like to use Multi-Grain crackers because I think they have more flavor.
