2 lbs. scallops
4 tsp butter, melted
1 Tblsp breadcrumbs
garlic salt to taste
dry mustard to taste
paprika
few drops sherry
fresh lemon wedges

Directions:
Directions:
*If using larger sea scallops, slice horizontally through center. (cuts cooking time in half and makes scallops more tender).

Place scallops in an oven-safe platter containing a little butter on the bottom. Sprinkle scallops with topping made of breadcrumbs, garlic salt, dry mustard and paprika. Add a little more butter. Preheat broiler 20 minutes before putting scallops in oven. Place scallops under broiler until brown (5 to 7 minutes) and let scallops heat through about 3 more minutes. Add a few drops of sherry and serve hot with a wedge of lemon.
