3 ripe bananas, mashed
1 tsp. baking soda
½ butter or margarine
1 c . sugar
3 eggs, beaten
½ c. buttermilk
2 c. flour
½ tsp. salt
½ chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Add baking soda to bananas and set aside. Mix butter, sugar, eggs and buttermilk. Add to flour and salt. Stir in bananas and pecans. Grease and flour 2 loaf pans. Bake at 350º for one hour or until well done.

You can also make muffins with this recipe. Place mixture into muffin pans and cut the cooking time down a little.
