1 c crushed vanilla wafers
1 c confection sugar
1 1/2 c chopped nuts
2 T cocoa
2 T light corn syruup
12 c rum

Directions:
Directions:
Mix crumbs, confectioner sugar, nuts and cocoa. Add corn syrup, rum and nuts. Mix well and shape into 1" balls. Roll in granulated sugar. Moisten cut sides of cherry halves with corn syrup and press on each sugar coated ball.

This is the best rum ball recipe. Aunt Catherine gave it to me years ago and I just love it. I refrigerate them and can't stop eating them. If I make them for a special occasion, I don't always get them there!!!!
