¾ c. brown sugar (heaping cup)
2 sticks unsalted butter
¼ c. sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. AP flour

Add-ins:
macadamia nuts, or other
white chocolate chunks
chocolate chunks
dried cherries
dried apricots

Step 1
Pre-heat oven to 350º

Step 2
Cream together brown sugar & butter until light and fluffy; Add sugar and egg, beating until smooth. Add remaining ingredients & beat until well incorporated.

Step 3
Add any chocolate, nuts or fruit
Jen's guidelines: 12 oz. chips, + 2c. white + 2c. nuts
2 c. white chocolate + cherries & apricots
"You want a lot of stuff in this batter"
* My usual is 12oz bag of Nestle Semi-Sweet Chunks or Ghirardelli Grands Chips, plus 1 cup Nestle dark chocolate chunks

Scoop onto lined baking sheets; sprinkle top of cookie ball with coarse sea salt. bake 18 minutes, give or take, depending upon size of cookie scoop used.

*loved dried cherries & apricots w/ white chocolate & macadamia nuts (owen & g'ma & Steve loved too)
if using coarse sea salt sprinkled on top of dough ball, cut salt in batter back to ¾ tsp. If adding salted macademia nuts, cut back on salt in batter to ½ tsp.
