Ingredients: A box of pizza mix. (I like Jiffy) A jar of pizza sauce. Mozarella cheese. Plus whatever else you would normally put on pizza.

Directions: |
Directions:Make the mix as directed on the box. Roll the dough out flat on the counter. (Make sure you clean the counter, 'cause I forgot once and the results were not edible.) Swat your kids' hands away while they try to pick at the dough. When dough is flattened, swat your spouse's hands away from the mozarella bag while they try to pick at it. Then grab a handful of mozarella and put it in the middle of the dough. Insert whatever disgusting toppings you like to put into this sort of thing, like ricotta cheese or pepperoni. Then fold the dough over the toppings and pinch the edges together. Roll the edges in a bit to seal the calzone. Put it into the oven at around 450 degrees (or whatever the pizza mix box says to do). Serve with a bowl of pizza sauce for dipping. |

Notes: The cookbook looked so sad and empty. And the only thing I'm good at making are calzones and goulash. The neat thing about calzones is that if you have friends over, they're all wholly impressed by your cooking, when really all you did was a lazy form of pizza.
