Ingredients:  
¾ cup melted shortening
1 cup brown sugar
¼ cup molasses
1 egg
2 cups flour
½ tsp cloves
½ tsp ginger
½ tsp salt
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first 4 ingredients and beat well.
Add dry ingredients- chill dough well, form into small balls and roll in sugar or powdered sugar.

Bake at 350º for 8-10 minutes
