Banana Cream Pie Recipe

2 T. corn starch (2 for pudding and 3 for pie)
¼ tsp. salt
¾cup sugar
2 cups milk
3 egg yolks

1 T butter
1 T vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Beat up the first five ingredients and cook until thick. Add butter and vanilla.

Fill pie shell with bananas and pour pudding over the top being sure to cover all the bananas so they don't get brown.

Meringue:
3 egg whites (beat until stiff)
a dash of salt
¼tsp. cream of tartar
Gradually mix in 3 T. sugar, one at a time


Put meringue on top of pie and bake at 350º until brown (I think about 10 to 15 minutes)
