1 fifth brandy or vodka
6 c. sugar
4 c. water
4 oz. instant coffee
1 vanilla bean, cut up

Directions:
Bring water to boil, add coffee, then sugar. Cool and pour into large bottles. Add liquor and vanilla bean. Let sit a month or so before using.
