Ingredients:  
Dissolve 2 pkgs Fleishmann's yeast in warm water and a little sugar. Set aside.

Mix:

2 cups water
2 cups scalded milk, cooled

Add, in order:

½ cup melted shortening
4 tsp salt
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
yeast mixture
enough flour for soft dough and yet not sticky

Let rise until double in bulk and then coil into rolls.

Mix caramel in bottom of pan:

¼ cup half and half
½ cup brown sugar
4 T butter
2 T corn syrup

Bake at 350º-375º for 25 minutes.
