Ham and Green Chili Pasta Bake Recipe

2 c. penne pasta
c. butter
c. flour
2 tbsp. Dijon mustard
1 tsp. dry mustard
2 tbsp. dried chopped onion
7 oz. can diced green chilies
2 c. milk
2 c. cooked ham cubed
2 c. shredded cheddar
tsp. salt
dash of pepper
2 tbsp. melted butter
c. dry bread crumbs

Cook penne in salted water 10-12 minutes. Drain. In large saucepan, melt c. butter. Blend in flour, Dijon mustard, dry mustard, salt and pepper. Add milk all at once. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Add chilies, ham and onion. Pour over pasta and stir. Put in 2 quart casserole dish. Melt 2 tbsp. butter. Stir in bread crumbs and sprinkle over casserole. Bake uncovered at 350 for 35 minutes.
