1 Egg well beaten
1 cup sugar
½ cup butter
¼ tsp salt
8 ounce chopped dates
2 cups rice crispy
¼ cup chopped nuts or pecans
1 (8) ounce package coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar eggs butter salt and sates in sauce pan. Cook ntil dates are softened and mixture is thick. Cool slightly and add rice crispy and nuts. Stir well. As soon as it is cool enough handle butter hands and roll into balls and roll in coconut place on parchment paper and cook.
