½ cup brown sugar
½ cup shortening
½ cup peanut butter

1 egg
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp vanilla

1 ¾ cup flour
1 tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. salt

Unwrap 20-30 chocolate kisses

Preheat Oven to 375º

Cream in large bowl: sugar, peanut butter, shortening

Add: egg, milk, vanilla

Mix in: flour,soda, salt

Can refrigerate to stiffen

Shape into small balls

Roll in sugar

Place on cookie sheet

Bake for 10-20 minutes

When you take them out of oven, press chocolate kisses onto the top of each one. Kiss will soften as it sits on hot cookies.
