1 9 inch pie crust, baked
1 can sweetened condensed milk, divided
1 (1 oz.) square unsweetened chocolate
1/2 tsp. almond extract, divided
1 (10 oz.) jar maraschino cherries, drained
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 c. cold water
1 (3.4 oz.) instant vanilla pudding
1 c. heavy cream, whipped
1/2 c. chopped almonds

Directions:
On low heat, cook and stir 1/2 c. sweetened condensed milk with chocolate square until melted and mixture is thickened (about 4 - 5 minutes). Stir in 1/4 tsp. almond extract. Pour into pastry shell and set aside.
Reserve 8 whole cherries for garnish. Chop remaining cherries and set aside.
In another bowl, beat cream cheese until light and fluffy. Gradually beat in water and remaining condensed milk. Add pudding mix and remaining almond extract. Mix well.
Fold in whipped cream. Stir in cherries and almonds. Pour over pie shell. Chill for 4 hours.
Garnish with whole cherries if desired.
