1 tsp – cooking oil
½ lb Italian sausages, cut into small slices
½ tsp cooking oil
½ lb lean ground beef
½ onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
14 oz. can of diced tomatoes (1/2 large can)
10 oz. can of mushroom stems and pieces (with liquid)
1 cup water
7 ½ oz can of tomato sauce (slightly less than a cup)
½ tsp dried whole oregano
½ tsp dried thyme
½ tsp dried basil
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
170 g spaghetti noodles, broken up

Directions:
Directions:
1. Heat first amount of cooking oil in large frying pan on medium. Add sausage. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned. Transfer with slotted spoon to paper towels to drain. Set aside. Discard drippings.
2. Heat second amount of cooking oil in same large frying pan on medium-high. Add ground beef, onion and garlic. Scramble-fry for 5 to 10 minutes until beef is no longer pink and onion is softened. Drain.
3. Add sausage and next 9 ingredients. Stir. Bring to a boil.
4. Add spaghetti. Stir. Reduce heat to medium-low. Cover. Simmer for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until spaghetti is tender but firm. Remove cover. Simmer for 1 to 2 minutes until sauce is thickened.
