Ingredients:
1.5 lbs (about 2 large breasts) skinless boneless chicken breasts, cut into longish pieces
1/4 c. all purpose flour
1/4 tsp. dried marjoram, crushed
1 - 1 1/2 c. fresh sliced mushrooms
2 Tbsp. sliced green onion
3 Tbsp. butter
1/4 c. chicken broth
1/4 c. Marsala wine
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
Snipped parsley, optional, as garnish
Hot cooked rice or egg noodles

Directions:
Directions:
Rinse chicken and pat dry. Place each breast half between two pieces of clear plastic and pound lightly with mallet until 1/8 inch thick. Remove plastic.
Stir together flour, marjoram, salt and pepper. Lightly press chicken pieces into flour on both sides and shake off excess.
In a large skillet, cook mushrooms and green onions in 1 Tbsp. butter until tender. Remove from skillet.
In the same skillet, cook chicken pieces in remaining butter over medium high heat for 4 minutes, turning to brown evenly. Remove skillet from heat.
Return mushrooms and onions to skillet and carefully add broth and Marsala. Cook, uncovered, for 2 - 3 minutes or until mushroom mixture thickens slightly, stirring occasionally.
Transfer chicken to serving platter. Spoon mushroom mixture over chicken. Sprinkle with parsley, if desired.
Serve over hot cooked rice or egg noodles.
