Large meaty beef soup bone
1 cup pearl barley
1 large can chopped tomatoes (28 oz.)
1 medium to large chopped onion
4 peeled and diced carrots
4 celery stalks , chopped
4 chicken bouillon cubes
Water

Directions:
Directions:
Add all ingredients to your soup pot. My soup pot is 4 1/2 quarts. Add water to just below the top and simmer all day. It is better if served the next day.

This is probably my favorite soup. Perfect for a cold winter evening. Serve with some good crust bread.
