Directions: |
Directions:It works best to place the dough on the counter and work the flour in as you knead the dough. Put dough back into pan. Grease top and place in oven with either pilot light of a gas stove or oven light of electric stove. This makes the rising time faster. Knead down after dough has doubled. Grease top again and return to oven. After dough has risen and more than doubled make into loaves and cinnamon rolls and let rise in pans until doubled.
Bake @ 375º for about 35-40 minutes. This will vary according to ovens. |

Personal
Notes: This is a tried and true recipe. The original recipe from Betty didn't have the potato flakes, oatmeal and sunflower seeds. As healthy eating became a "thing" I added them One can add oat bran, wheat germ powdered milk and 7 grain cereal
Bread machines weren't for me. The satisfaction received from making bread from 'scratch" was a true joy!!
