1 Cup White Sugar
4 Cups Milk
4 Egg Yolks
8 Tablespoon Corn Starch
Pinch of Salt
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
½ teaspoon of desired flavoring

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar and cornstarch and wisk until well blended. Add in the egg yolks and incorporate the milk and keep wisking the eggs and sugar mixture.

To top the pie use the egg whites and 6 tablespoon of white sugar and 1 teaspoon cream of tarter beat until fluffy.

Top pies and return to oven to toast the top.

To make chocolate pie use 1 tsp vanilla 2 tbs butter and 2 to 3 squares of bakers chocolate.
To make a salted carmel pie omit the vanilla and use 1 tsp carmel extract and add Sea Salt on top of the meringue topping
If making coconut top meringue with coconut.
