Regular Pecan Pie


Ingredients:

3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 cup Karo syrup, light or dark
1 cup sugar
2 tbsp butter, melted
1 tsp vanilla
1 ½ cup pecans halved
1 9" unbaked pie shell

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F. Place pie crust in pie pan. Set aside.

Mix together the first 5 ingredients until well blended. Stir in pecans. Pour into pie pan.

Bake for 50-55 minutes or until knife, inserted halfway from center and edge, comes out clean.
 

Chocolate Pecan Pie

4 squares (4 oz) semi sweet chocolate

Follow recipe for Regular Pecan Pie except melt the chocolate with the butter.
