1 c. cocoa
1 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat all ingredients above.

Add: 1 c. sour cream; beat again.
Sift together: 3 c. flour, (scant) 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/2 tsp. baking soda, and 1/2 tsp. baking powder. Add sifted ingredients to cocoa mixture. Stir in 1 c. nut meats. Drop by spoonsfull and bake in 375º oven.
