4-5 lb chuck roast
1 1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 1/2 tsp. oregano
1 1/2 tsp. basil
1 1/2 tsp. onion salt
1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
2 envelopes Italian Salad mix (dry 1 oz. packet)
1 jar sliced peperoncini or Banana Peppers
1/2 jar of the liquid from peppers

Directions:

Cook in a crock pot on high for 5-6 hours or low 11-12 hours.
Remove roast and remove fat.
Shred meat. Put back in crock pot for 30 minutes to absorb more of the flavor of the liquid.
Serve with hoagie rolls or small party buns and slices of Provolone Cheese.
