2¾ cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup butter, softened
1 egg
1½ cups white sugar
1 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. In small bowl, stir together flour, baking powder and baking soda. In large bowl, cream butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in egg and vanilla. Gradually add dry ingredients. Roll rounded teaspoonful's of dough into balls, placing on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes. Let stand on cookie sheet for 2 minutes beofre removing to cool on rack.

Makes 4 dozen
