3 cups sugar
¼ cup water
½ tsp red food coloring
1 cup white syrup
1 dram cinnamon oil
Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, syrup, and water in a medium saucepan. Boil to hard crack stage 300º. Add red food coloring at 288º. Remove from heat and add cinnamon oil. DO NOT BREATHE in fumes from adding the cinnamon. It will burn your lungs. Mix in oil and pour at once onto a well butter 13 x 17 cookie sheet. Cool and break into pieces.

Dust with powdered sugar to keep from sticking in container. Keep in airtight container.

Cinnamon Oil along with other flavors can be purchased from Walmart, Joann's, Micheal's, etc. that carry baking supplies.
