3½ c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. shortening or butter
¾ c. + 2 tsp. water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients and knead as you would a biscuit dough. Let stand 20-30 minutes. Cut into 2½" squares. Fry in 375º oil until light golden brown and puffed up like a pillow. Drain on paper towels.
