1 lb lean ground beef
1 cup diced onion, fresh or frozen
½ tsp basil
1-14 oz can diced tomatoes
3 cups water
1-15 oz can tomato sauce
2 cups chopped green peppers (about 2 ½ jumbo peppers)
1 tbsp beef bouillon
1 cup cooked born rice

Directions:
Directions:
Brown ground beef with onions and drain off any fat. Add basil, diced tomatoes, water, tomato sauce, green peppers, bouillon and cooked rice. Simmer for 1 hour. This can be made in a slow cooker and cooked for 6-8 hours.
