1 qt. non dairy creamer
1 can sweetened condensed milk
3 packages instant vanilla pudding *
4 eggs
1 c. sugar
½ gallon milk
vanilla to taste
rock salt for freezing
*For light chocolate ice cream use 1 package instant vanilla pudding and 2 packages chocolate pudding

Directions:
Directions:
To make a cooked custard base: Whisk the eggs in a medium sauce pan. Combine eggs, sugar and milk.
Gently cook the mixture to 160º, stirring constantly. The cooking will destroy any Salmonella, if present.
After cooking, remove from heat and stir in non-dairy creamer and sweetened condensed milk. Chill the mixture. When mixture has chilled whisk in pudding mixes and vanilla. Freeze in ice cream maker according to machine directions.
