Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 can evaporated milk
1 can condensed milk
4 eggs
4 oz cream cheese (softened)
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Caramel Sauce (for an 8-9 in pan):
1 cup sugar
¼ cup water

Directions:
For a 8" or 9" inch pan

First prepare the caramel sauce: Mix the sugar with the water in a glass, microwave safe container or cup. Microwave until sugar gets golden like caramel (not too dark). Time will depend on the microwave. You can start with 5 minutes and then adjust accordingly. Pour immediately in the mold and swirl to make sure the bottom is completely covered and swirl as high as you can go on the sides. Let it cool.

Flan mixture:
Preheat oven to 350F.
Add all the ingredients in an electrical mixer. Blend at low speed until it’s homogenous. Do not overmix.
Pour the custard mix into the cooled caramelized mold and sit in the baño de María (bain-marie).
Bake for about 1 hr. Test for doneness by inserting a wet knife in the center, if it comes clean it's done. Larger flans will take 1½ hours. If the flan does not seem solid in the middle, bake it longer, test again. Remove from the oven and let it cool down to the touch. Refrigerate at least 6 hours before serving.

***If you want to make Coconut flan, just use coconut milk instead of the evaporated milk. Everything else is the same***
