2 pints small okra pods
1 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup water
2 Tablespoons salt
4 cloves of garlic
2 Teaspoons dill seed
2 Pods hot pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Wash okra well. Bring vinegar, water and salt to a boil. Fill jars with okra, adding 1 Teaspoon Dill seed, 2 garlic cloves and 1 pod of hot pepper to each jar. Fill jars with hot syrup, leaving 1/2 inch headspace. Wipe jar mouths, seal and place in simmering water bath for 5 minutes. Wait for about 4-6 weeks to open. This will be time enough for okra to absorb the flavors.
