1 cup margarine or softened butter
1 cup sugar
2/3 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup peanut butter
1 teas vanilla
2 eggs
2 cups flour
2 cup quick cooking or old fashioned rolled oats (optional)
2 teas baking soda
1/2 teas salt
1 12 oz. pkg semisweet chocolate chips or 2 cups candy coated chocolate pcs

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Beat margarine, sugars, peanut butter, vanilla and eggs vigorously in large bowl until creamy and well blended. Stir in flour, oats, baking soda and salt. Stir in chocolate chips.

Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2 ins. apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake 10 - 12 minutes until golden brown. Cool 1 min; remove from cookie sheet to cool.

Makes about 4 dozen cookies
