3 Cups Mashed Figs
1 package (6 Ounce) strawberry flavored gelatin
3 Cups Sugar

Directions:
If dark figs are used, preserves will be a deep purple color. For lighter preserves figs may be peeled.

Thoroughly mix figs, gelatin, and sugar in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat and boil 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Pour quickly into glasses. Cover at once with boiled, hot jar lids. Makes 6 medium glasses.
